Muay Thai for Life (MTFL) 13 will mark the first ever venture to the central Swedish city of Karlstad! The debut takes place at Fröding Arena on Saturday, August 30th, and will showcase the best martial artist from Karlstad, Sweden and beyond!
Hometown hero and newly crowned world Muay Thai champion “Deadly” Dalian Dawody will compete for the vacant super middleweight title in the main event. Across from him stands the grizzled and highly credentialled Argentinian Braian Allevato.
Dawody is currently riding a three fight winning streak, most recently adding to it with a second round KO win over Hadji Bubu Ndow at MTFL 12. Allevato was supposed to compete at MTFL 6 against Anton Sjöqvist but was forced out due to injury. Aside from being an IFMA South American Muay Thai Champion and Pan American silver medalist, Allevato has also won numerous pro titles in respected European promotions.
The co-main event certainly has got the fans going crazy as fan favourites Sam Wingqvist and Wittaya “Fluck” Thawinprai both return for a heated battle that has “Fight of the Night” written all over it.
In other noteworthy bouts: heavyweights Zvonimir Kralj and Faris Lukovic will duke it out, Antonia Drevenlid faces Aysha Medina in a battle between Sweden and Norway and MMA star Taha Alougui will make his MTFL debut – taking on Lucas Blomqvist.
The doors at Fröding Arena open at 15:00 local time with the preliminary card beginning at 16.00, the main card starts at 18:00. Tickets are available at Billetto.
