Muay Thai for Life broke new grounds with a triumphant debut in the southern city of Helsingborg.
The main event saw local hero Mustafa Aboutaka; 2023 World Muay Thai champion, face off against rising star Amine Arbabe – a two-time Belgian Muay Thai champion.
The fight is already being called one of the best MTFL bouts of 2025 as it was a high-flying spectacle of action. While Aboutaka was smooth with his offense, Arbabe came to win and even dropped the hometown fighter in round two. Despit that Aboutaka managed to use slick movement and attacks to stay a step ahead, eventually winning a decision.
The co-main event saw local favorite Marcus Sundin Liljedorff face Alexander Glemme in a rematch ten years in the making. Like the first bout it was Gothenburgs Glemme who would once again get the nod from the judges. Glemme scored the biggest win of his pro career against the highly merited Liljedorff and will surely move on to big things.
Italian prospect Ernesto Costa Cesari scored a big upset by finishing Danish champion Soufian Touti with a vicious cut and MMA fighters Osman Vacoev and Anton Ringvall kicked off the main card in ferocious fashion. After three rounds Vacoev emerged victorious.
