As made official at the last event: Muay Thai for Life 13 will take place in Karlstad!
This is the first MTFL event to take place in Karlstad on Saturday August 30th with hometown hero and Muay Thai world champion Dalian Dawody competing for the vacant super middleweight title in the main event. MTFL 13 will go down at Fröding Arena, tickets are available via Billetto.
While planned for several months the official announcement occurred at MTFL 12 in Gothenburg in conjunction with Dawodys third straight win in MTFL – a second round TKO victory over Hadji Bubu Ndow.
Dawodys opponent has not yet been announced. Currently Dawoy sits on an impressive win streak over Sixten Larsson, Oliver Hansen and Ndow most recently.
Karlstad’s own Sam Wingqvist will face off against Wittaya Fluck – who returns to MTFL – in the co-main event. Wingqvist is coming off of a decision loss in a Fight of the Night performance against Nasim Kazem at MTFL 12. Fluck has not competed in MTFL since the second event where he lost a decision to current MTFL lightweight champ Sam Ghoroghi.
