The Muay Thai For Life Series launched in the fall of 2021. The first-ever event – MTFL 1.0 – took place in Partille Arena in Gothenburg, Sweden on October 31 and was headlined by a WMC European lightweight title bout where hometown hero Nicholas Bryant managed to stay undefeated and win the prestigious championship belt. Bryant faced his toughest test to date in French Muay Thai champion Florent Louis-Joseph, and won the fight by way of unanimous decision after five rounds of action.

In the co-main event, three-time Swedish champion Jonathan Larsson scored a spectacular knockout in a catchweight bout against Norway’s Anders Kalbakk Böhler as he landed a big knee in the third round.

MTFL 1.0 also featured a ONE Championship contracted fighter in Norwegian superstar Anne-Line Hogstad, as ONE generously agreed to let her sign a one-fight deal to enter the Muay Thai For Life ring in Sweden. She was matched up against Swedish prospect Uma Galli in a women’s flyweight contest that saw the Hogstad securing the victory by split decision.
